We offer courses of different lengths.
Group courses – from 10 hrs* (1 week) to 120 hrs* (1 semester)
Individual courses - you can simply buy the number of hours that fit your needs. You can even purchase just one lesson. The shortest lesson is 60 minutes long.
You can also combine courses. For example, if would like to study for a whole year, you can combine two semester courses.
*1 hr = a lesson duration of 45 minutes.
Group courses –
Standard group - 7-10 people - one lesson is 2 hrs (i.e. 2 x 45 min = 90 minutes)
Since students in smaller groups work quicker, the following lesson durations apply for :
"mini" groups - 4-6 people - one lesson is 75 minutes;
"micro" groups - 2-3 people – one lesson is 60 minutes;
An individual course - one lesson may last 60, 90 or 120 minutes, depending on your preferences.
Of course. It is possible to have the lessons at your home or workplace. You will be charged extra for the teacher´s travel expenses. The amount will be calculated based on the distance between the city center and your home/workplace. Please contact the school office for more information.
You can find the course participation rules here: [link]
Both options have their advantages and disadvantages. Perhaps the following table will help you make the right choice.

It is assumed that you have to spend at least 120 hrs mastering one level before you can move onto the next language level. However, this depends on many factors such as your individual pace of learning, your knowledge of other languages (e.g. knowing a different Slavic language can help you learn Polish quicker) and the amount of time you spend on learning by yourself and repeating the material, also your age, etc.
If you already know a little bit of Polish, you will be asked to write a placement test and have a short chat with a teacher before you begin a course. Based on your results, we will be able to determine your current level of proficiency and suggest an appropriate course for you.
If you cannot write a placement test at the school or would like to know your level of proficiency earlier, please contact the school office. We will send the test to you and arrange a telephone conversation with the teacher.
